Presentations of active participants must meet the following requirements:

  • Abstract for the lecture (will be published in the PragueONCO Journal, which will be distributed at the colloquium).
  • Upload the abstract by November 15, 2024 (the participant profile will be available to you after registering at www.PragueONCO.cz), or send the abstract to your contact from the organizing agency.
  • Content of the lecture abstract:
  • name, surname, workplace of the author and co-authors;
  • e-mail of the author;
  • the exact title of the lecture matching the title given in the program;
  • introduction, aim, methodology, conclusion (if, for example, one of the parts of the content, e.g. methodology, is unsuitable for the given abstract of the lecture, it is possible to use another, more appropriate one, or to omit it);
  • keywords;
  • abstract length: 1 standard page = 1,800 characters including spaces;
  • format: Word document.
  • Bring the final version of your lecture with you to the colloquium on a USB memory card, which you hand in to the technician in the lecture hall. The technician will already take care of starting your lecture at the right time.
  • Delivery of the presentation: at least 30 minutes before the start of the respective block.
  • The length of the presentation will be specified in the detailed program and must be adhered to.
  • It is also possible to use your own computer for the presentation. In this case, however, it is necessary to pass this information on to your contact from the organizing agency. It is also necessary to test its functionality in the venue of the colloquium in the lecture hall the day before the lecture itself with the assistance of a technician.
  • Conflict of Interest Statement

The author is obliged to state in his contribution that he has no conflict of interests in connection with the topic, creation and presentation of this contribution. This means that the author must disclose any financial and personal relationships with other people or organizations that could influence his work. Examples of potential conflicts of interest include employment, pharmaceutical companies, stock ownership, royalties, paid expert testimony, patent applications/registrations, and grants or other funding. Each lecture must state: I declare that I have no conflict of interest in connection with the paper of which I am the author/co-author. Or: I declare that I have a conflict of interest with the companies listed below (enter their names after the colon) in connection with the post I authored.

A conflict of interest statement should be included at the beginning of the presentation.
